Unconditionally Explicit Stable Difference Schemes for Solving Some Linear and Non-Linear Parabolic Differential Equation
We present the numerical method for solution of some linear and non-linear parabolic equation. Using idea [1], we will present the explicit unconditional stable scheme which has no restriction on the step size ratio k/h2 where k and h are step sizes for space and time respectively. We will also present numerical results to justify the present scheme.
متن کاملNonstandard finite difference schemes for differential equations
In this paper, the reorganization of the denominator of the discrete derivative and nonlocal approximation of nonlinear terms are used in the design of nonstandard finite difference schemes (NSFDs). Numerical examples confirming then efficiency of schemes, for some differential equations are provided. In order to illustrate the accuracy of the new NSFDs, the numerical results are compared with ...
متن کاملOn Compact High Order Finite Difference Schemes for Linear Schrödinger Problem on Non-uniform Meshes
In the present paper a general technique is developed for construction of compact high-order finite difference schemes to approximate Schrödinger problems on nonuniform meshes. Conservation of the finite difference schemes is investigated. The same technique is applied to construct compact high-order approximations of the Robin and Szeftel type boundary conditions. Results of computational expe...
متن کاملDifference based Non-Linear Fractals using IFS
Fractals are self-similar images. There are many techniques for generating fractals. IFS are one of them. IFS use a set of linear transformations for generation of fractals. We propose a method of modifying IFS such that non-linear transformations can be used for generating pleasant looking fractals. We also show a technique which ensures convergence of the fractal Images. Non-linear fractals h...
متن کاملLinear and Non-Linear Subdivision Schemes in Geometric Modeling
Subdivision schemes are efficient computational methods for the design, representation and approximation of 2D and 3D curves, and of surfaces of arbitrary topology in 3D. Subdivision schemes generate curves/surfaces from discrete data by repeated refinements. While these methods are simple to implement, their analysis is rather complicated. The first part of the talk presents the “classical” ca...
